Newsletter and Kickstarter launch

When you sign up we store your email address, your chosen language, the time you signed up and confirmed, and a hashed version of your IP address to prevent abuse. We use this only to send you news about the Sling Kickstarter campaign and the product. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by confirming your email address.

You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. We keep your data until you unsubscribe.

Orders

When you order we store your name, email, address, phone number and order details to deliver and handle your order. The legal basis is the contract with you. Accounting records are kept for seven years as required by Swedish law.

Who we share data with

The website and database are hosted by SiteGround. We never sell your data. If we connect a newsletter service, we will update this page.

Third-party content

Fonts are hosted on our own server. YouTube videos only load when you click them, and are then shown through youtube-nocookie.com.

Cookies and statistics

We use one necessary session cookie so the forms work securely, and we store your cookie choice in your browser.

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, for example which pages are visited. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga) and the data is processed by Google, which may transfer it to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. Contact info@sling.nu. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
